My friend Katie with Katie Buehler Photography does outdoor family photos. I absolutely love having her take our family pictures in the fall because the leaves in East Tennessee this time of year are awesome. I honestly did not think we would have many great pictures from this particular session because: 1) We were late to our session, thanks to rush hour traffic. 2) Eli was very grumpy. 3) It was a fairly short session since we were losing the sunlight per Reason #1. Then, last week, I got the email that our pictures were ready to view… and they blew me away. I plan to frame at least 15 of these photos. Hello, new gallery wall.
Oh, how I love these people of mine.
I am so glad that Katie captured these sweet moments between Noah and me. He is growing up so very fast. (Doesn’t he look ten in these pictures?!)
Noah has become such a sweet, loving and helpful big brother. Eli and Emry Jane love him so much. (Also, perhaps you can tell what kind of mood Eli was in by these pictures. Not very interested in smiling, though Katie was able to catch a couple smiles from him.)
Aren’t those eyes just killer?!
We are so thankful for all the joy and adventure this little monkey brings to our family.
Daddy’s little girl, for sure.
Princess Emry Jane was so happy during our session and we were able to get several smiles from her. Also, I am usually behind the camera and very rarely get to be in the pictures, so I am thankful that Katie captured great pictures of me with each of my babies.
This is the best Emry Jane smile in a picture, ever, plus that sweet smile from Noah at his sister… I’m ordering the biggest canvas they make of this photo.
When these two were born, my friend Olivera gave us this frame with a quote about twins on it. “Double the giggles, double the grins, double the trouble when you’re blessed with twins.” Now, 16 months later, I finally have a picture for that frame!
Daddy did a lot of baby-chasing during this photo shoot, so he was not in as many individual pictures, but look how sweet this picture is of Daddy and his babies. Then…
… look at this one. This picture captures REAL life with twins. Haha.
“Every love story is beautiful, but ours is my favorite.”
